The Headliners
Amelie Lens and Charlotte de Witte are the two names most synonymous with Awakenings right now. Both Belgian, both technically brilliant, both capable of controlling tens of thousands with precision and raw energy.
Adam Beyer and his Drumcode empire remain the backbone of festival techno. Ben Klock brings Berghain severity. Boris Brejcha adds his signature high-tech minimal. Nina Kraviz is one of the most polarising and magnetic DJs alive. Richie Hawtin is a living legend. Joseph Capriati brings Neapolitan groove. Gordo has carved out a legitimate space in house. Marco Carola is festival techno royalty. I Hate Models brings wave-influenced darkness. Pan-Pot deliver Berlin peak-time precision.

The Venue
Awakenings moved to Beekse Bergen and it transformed the festival. Area A returns in the forest \u2014 the favourite of many, with massive vibes under a roof of light and lasers across the whole weekend. Area X is the warehouse club experience: dark, stripped-back, sweaty. Area V is the main stage with large-scale production. And deeper in the terrain, a hidden area captures the spirit of intimate rave settings.
Camping extends the experience with after-hours programs until dawn, beach areas, swimming spots, and shaded chill-out zones. New for 2026: swimming pools at Comfort Camping and Relax Resort.
The Verdict
122 artists across three days. Amelie Lens, Charlotte de Witte, Adam Beyer, Ben Klock, Boris Brejcha, Nina Kraviz, Richie Hawtin, and I Hate Models headlining, with Dax J, Nico Moreno, DJ Rush, and Pan-Pot on the undercard. In a forest in the Dutch countryside. Heading for a sell-out.
